"This was one of the best experiences I have done in Mexico. The host Ricardo was knowledgeable, passionate and entertaining. We started out at a farm showing how they tend to the agave plants and with our first taste of Mezcal. We then visited two distilleries where we tasted at least 15 different Mezcals. We finished off with an incredible lunch that allowed us to taste so many traditional foods. Highly recommend this tour!"
"Really great trip! We saw so many varieties of maguey, and various different production processes! and of course the tastings were innumerable and super interesting. Our guide Leyda was lovely and so enthusiastic, and all the distilleries we visited were warm and welcoming. Highly recommend for an immersive way to see the countryside and the heart of production."

Everything was perfectly organized and on time. Huge shoutout to our guide Leida and our driver Alberto – both were fantastic. Leida brought amazing energy, created a great atmosphere, and really connected the whole group. The mezcal tasting was a highlight, and the lunch afterward was also delicious. "Really enjoyed this trip with The Mezcal Journey! Starting in the agave fields we got to know the different species used to make mezcal and have our first drink straight from the agave leaf. We then went to 2 other distilleries plus a local restaurant for lunch (there was plenty of food) and enjoyed many mezcales at each location. Our host was knowledgeable, engaging and funny. Highly recommend!"
